I Bike Olympics 29th June – 31st July 2020

The Tokyo Olympics may be postponed however the I Bike Olympics is not. You and your family can participate in our 5 week challenge, from the comfort of your own home and local area. Each week we will be sharing a variety of activities for you and your children to complete together. The I Bike Olympics will test your cycle and scooting skills, challenge you to explore your local neighbourhood and also will have some creative ideas for those indoor days! Sign-up for your weekly I Bike Olympics emails and get ready to participate.

Getting Started – Parents Information

Recently, it’s been fantastic to see an increase in the number of families taking up walking, cycling and scooting. But we know that changing the way we travel can raise a lot of questions. We have created some videos and resources to help parents and carers. Sustrans also has some great advice on Walking, cycling and wheeling during Covid-19 in Scotland.

Encourage your children

I Bike schools deliver indoor and outdoor walking, cycling and scooting activities which help increase children’s skills and confidence. Activities are designed to teach children about the importance of being active and will boost their enthusiasm for travelling actively.

There are a few things you can do if you and your child are keen to become more active:

Cycling or Scooting

Start cycling or scooting with kids. Exploring together is a great way to build confidence

Can you ride, scoot or walk the route to school so they get to know it?

If you would like to get involved – you can help at an I Bike session or become a regular volunteer. Get in touch with your school or contact
